World Kindness Day: Bee Kind

On Thursday 13 November, Classes 1 to 4 celebrated World Kindness Day with the theme "Bee Kind". Cathy and Keyla Stephen from Bee Happy Farm spent the morning with us exploring the world of bees and their vital role on our planet. The children listened to the story of Bailee the Bee, looked closely at a real beehive and tasted honey straight from the hive.

Cathy, Keyla and Dylan, a past Roseway student, are also helping us to move our own bees to their new hive. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and love of these remarkable creatures.

Class 11 also visited Hillcrest public hospital with the gifts collected by our school children. Thank you to every child and parent who contributed to brightening someone's day.
