High School explore horror and special effects make-up

Our High School students were treated to an immersive, hands-on masterclass on the key elements of the horror genre. As well as exploring how writers and film makers build suspense, tension and atmosphere, the students learned the practical art of special effects make-up.

The room was soon filled with remarkably realistic, and wonderfully gruesome, creations as the students put their new skills to the test. Their work went on to feature in a student-led Haunted House at the Moonlight Market.
