In the classroom: Norse myths, Ancient Egypt and geometry

Class 4 has entered the world of Norse mythology, meeting Odin, Thor, Freya and Loki alongside the great cosmic tree, Yggdrasil.
Class 5 has travelled back thousands of years to explore the history, culture and mythology of Ancient Egypt. The classroom became a scribe's workshop, where the students made their own working papyrus paper from scratch.
Class 6 has stepped into geometry, a block of exact discipline, order and form. The class has been constructing intricate patterns, learning to bisect lines and construct perfect hexagons, and discovering the laws that govern shapes.
Class 9 completed their first play with our drama teacher, Ben: an adaptation of excerpts from several Shakespeare plays, poems and a few delightful Shakespearean insults. Thank you to the parents and friends who came to support them.
