Class 7 felted slippers, and Class 4 meets Honey

A pair of hand-felted slippers made by a Class 7 pupil

Class 7 has completed a handwork block of felted slippers, each pair hand shaped, dyed and decorated with its own personality. They are all so good that we wish we could show every pair.

Class 4, as part of their main lesson block on man and animal, welcomed a special visitor: Honey, a lively little chihuahua puppy who quickly became the class mascot. Alongside their new friend, the class has been drawing form after form on the blackboard and in their main lesson books, building focus, symmetry and a steady hand.

Over the holidays, almost 100 students, parents, staff and board members also enjoyed a group outing to see The Prince of Egypt at the Durban Playhouse.
